The broadcaster behind Romano Media.

Carla Romano is a former GMTV presenter, journalist, and national network broadcaster — turned executive media coach. With two decades of experience in news, live television, and on-camera storytelling, Carla brings rare insight into what it takes to communicate with clarity, credibility, and authority under pressure.

Carla’s journey began studying French and Politics, followed by a postgraduate diploma in journalism.

She launched her career in radio — producing and presenting in-depth documentaries and investigative pieces for BBC Radio — quickly becoming a nationally recognised voice.

In 1997, she transitioned to television, presenting the news for BBC Scotland and regularly contributing to national broadcasts on BBC News 24. Her success took her to the network for ITV in London and the morning show GMTV, where she went on to serve as the US correspondent, reporting live from Los Angeles. Covering major red carpet events — the Oscars and the Golden Globes — conducting exclusive celebrity interviews, breaking news, and high-stakes live television segments.

That wide-ranging broadcast background — spanning documentary production, hard news reporting, and live television — gives Carla a unique vantage point. She’s seen firsthand how presentation, tone, authenticity, and preparation shape how messages land, whether on radio, on screen, or in boardrooms.

Now, she brings that expertise to you. Romano Media draws on real broadcast-level discipline and seasoned journalistic instincts to help executives craft their narrative, sharpen their delivery, and project confidence and authority — whether speaking in person, on camera, or across digital platforms.

In short: a storyteller, broadcaster, and communication insider — now helping leaders tell their story, lead with presence, and perform with impact.
